About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Pillar Health Co. uses cookies, browser storage, pixels, and similar technologies on getpillarhealth.com. It also explains the choices available to you. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Essential technologies are active because they are needed to operate and protect the website. Analytics and marketing technologies are also active by default and remain active unless you turn them off. You can reject non-essential technologies, or make a separate choice for Analytics and Marketing, at any time — your choice then replaces the default and is remembered on that browser.

If your browser or a browser extension sends a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as a rejection of Analytics and Marketing, and no non-essential technologies are loaded. Your own saved choice takes precedence over the signal, so if you have used the controls below to allow a category, that choice continues to apply until you change it. The signal is read when a page loads.

Categories we use

Essential — always active

Essential browser storage supports core functions such as security, session continuity, saved preferences, and other features you request. These functions do not activate the analytics or advertising technologies listed below.

Analytics — optional

While Analytics is active, Pillar's first-party analytics records pages viewed, site and purchase-funnel interactions, referral information, browser details, and pseudonymous session and visitor identifiers. Requests sent to Pillar may also be associated with a pseudonymous version of the visitor's IP address. We use this information to understand site use and improve performance. If a Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured, Google Analytics may collect similar usage and device information and set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*.

While Analytics is active and you have also accepted our care partner's cookie notice, Pillar's own first-party session replay may record how you move through the care partner's intake pages after you choose Start treatment (screens shown, taps, scrolling and error messages) with every input masked — typed text, chosen answers, uploaded photos and payment-card details are never recorded — and these replays are kept on Pillar's own servers, are never shared with any third-party replay, analytics or advertising service, and are deleted after 30 days.

Marketing — optional

While Marketing is active and the applicable account IDs are configured, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and Reddit Pixel may use cookies or similar technologies to measure advertising, limit repeated ads, build audiences, and show ads that may be more relevant. These providers receive ordinary browser and page-interaction information under their own privacy terms. Reddit may also receive the information described in the next paragraph.

While Marketing is active, the Reddit Pixel may also collect an email address or phone number that you type, paste, or autofill on our website — for example in an email sign-up, the chat window, or the contact form — or that is shown on a page you visit. Reddit's script turns it into a scrambled (hashed) code in your browser, may keep that code in a cookie on your browser for up to 90 days, and uses it to match visits to Reddit accounts for the advertising purposes described above. We also give the Reddit Pixel a random identifier for your browser. We create it only for Reddit, and we do not make it from, or store it with, your name, email address, health information, or Pillar's own customer or analytics records. Reddit receives it together with the pages you visit and any email or phone code described above, so Reddit may connect them. If you reject Marketing, the random identifier is deleted and the Reddit Pixel stops loading.

We do not intentionally send medical intake answers, payment-card data, or protected health information to these analytics or advertising tags.

Google Consent Mode

Google Consent Mode v2 signals are set from the choice that currently applies to you. Analytics and advertising storage are granted by default, and are switched to denied as soon as you reject the matching category. If you have not saved a choice and your browser sends a recognized opt-out preference signal, they are denied from the moment the page loads; a choice you have saved yourself continues to apply instead. Only the corresponding configured Google tag is loaded. If no Google measurement or advertising ID is configured, no Google tag is loaded.

Change your choice

You can change your choice at any time by selecting here or in the footer. Rejecting non-essential technologies does not prevent essential website features from working. You may also clear or block cookies through your browser, although doing so can remove saved preferences or affect site features.

How long technologies remain

Session storage normally expires when you close the browser tab or window. Persistent browser storage remains until it expires or is cleared. Third-party cookie duration is controlled by the applicable provider and may change under that provider's policies.
