Tadalafil / Apomorphine safety information
What to know before starting Tadalafil / Apomorphine. A licensed clinician reviews your full health history before any prescription is issued.
Important safety information
- Contains tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor — do not combine with nitrates. Discuss any heart conditions, low blood pressure, and current medications during intake.
- Contains apomorphine — do not use with 5-HT3 anti-nausea medicines (ondansetron, granisetron, dolasetron, palonosetron, or alosetron); taken together they have caused severe low blood pressure and loss of consciousness.
- Apomorphine can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, low blood pressure on standing, and fainting. Alcohol, blood pressure medicines, and other medicines that widen blood vessels can add to these effects.
- Apomorphine can cause sudden sleepiness, including falling asleep during daily activities. Do not drive or do anything that needs your full attention until you know how it affects you.
- Get emergency care for an erection that lasts more than 4 hours. Tell your clinician about any allergies, including to sulfites.
- Use only as directed by your prescribing clinician.
If side effects come up
Message your care team — if side effects are disruptive, your clinician can adjust your plan or stop treatment. For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
